Web Post #4
1. Who was Alfred
Stieglitz and why is he noteworthy in the history of photography?
Alfred Stieglitz was an American photographer, and he was also a modern art promoter. He's noteworthy because he opened New York art galleries in the 1900's and brought in art from Europe to the U.S.
2. Choose a photograph he made, upload it to your blog, and explain why you chose it as your favorite by him.

Macro Pics!
So this is a feather. When I looked back in my photos on my iTouch, I thought it was a leaf. But nope. it's actually a feather. It actually looked pretty gross in person, but cool on camera. |
This picture was actually taken a few months back. I had taken it in Las Vegas, Nevada. We were walking in the hotel's garden, so I quickly grabbed a camera and snapped a shot. |
I think the texture of this tree looked pretty cool on camera. I like how mostly the cent was bright and the rest of the tree was a darker shade. |
I'm not really sure what to call this, but I like how it's mostly blurred and you can see the grass pretty well. |
These are my beat up ear buds. They're beat up because as you can see the top of the closest one is ripped off. Also, I accidentally pulled the cord apart. |
I thought this leaf was pretty, so naturally I took a picture of it. Although it's pretty blurry, I still really liked how it turned out. |
I really like photos of water drops, so I took a picture of my empty water bottle. Which of course had water drops on the inside. I like how it was foggy on the inside also. |

Tilt shift
This picture was taken in the Tualatin commons. There were tons of baby ducks that day! Also, in the background of the blurred part, those dots are actually ducks. |
I took this picture while I was at Sea world in San Diego. I actually got pretty close to them. I would've walked up closer, but I didn't want to keep my family waiting. |
This picture turned out pretty good. I took it while I stood on one of the benches in the school parking lot. Let's just say the benches aren't very good to be stood on since they're wobbly.
I actually really like this picture. I was trying to take a picture of a bird before it flew off, then I saw a bus parked. The thing is though I didn't realize that there was a person sitting in the drivers' seat though.
I took this picture when we were picking up my great grandma and great uncle at the airport. I was hoping to get a better shot, but I couldn't since we were in such a rush.
